Filing a claim through the web site was very cumbersome. However, after phoning customer service, I was sent a checklist of what was required to file the claim. Doing this through email was very easy. Processing took a few weeks and the entire claim was allowed.

We had to cancel our trip. We used "cancel for any reason". I was able to handle everything either on the website or through email. They were very responsive and quickly delivered our check. I will definitely use this provider for future trips.

Everything prior to the trip was good, with no direct contact with the insurance company. Upon our return (7/16), one piece of baggage was severely damaged during the last leg of the trip. After the denial for any compensation from the airline company the following day (7/17), a claim was issued with Travel Insured International. As of today (7/31), there is no response from the insurance company.

Purchase process and interactions with customer service to address questions about policies were easy. Did not have to submit claim so no comment on that.

When our trip was interrupted due to an unexpected death in the family, the agent I spoke to was very helpful at clearly advising me and being sensitive to my situation. They make it easy to file the claim and also submitting the claim can be done in multiple ways.

My claim is still being processed so I don’t know how efficient that process will go until it’s over.
