United Airlines messed up our flights.... Tuc to Houston 6 hrs late, so we missed our connection in Houston, and then our early AM domestic flight in San Jose, Costa Rica, which meant that we didn't make our reserved hotel in the south of the country. So we had to cancel our trip. Very bummed and won't fly with United Internationally again.
Only contact was to purchase a policy online. Did not need to file a claim. Purchasing the policy was an easy process. I did not file a claim so I can not comment on that aspect of the policy. I gave the insurance provider four (4) stars because I did not have any problems. However, since I did not need to interact with the insurer and do not know how effectively they deal with claims, I did not feel that I could give them the highest rating.

My interaction with Travel Insured International was to verify that there would be no problem if we ended our trip in a different USA location than our home in Albuquerque. Once they understood that I was not asking for added days of insurance they quickly agreed. The only downside to the interaction was having to navigate their phone system.
