Excellent service! I am so glad that I purchased a travel policy. When the airline lost my luggage for 4 days and I had to purchase replacement items, I called Travel Assistance. They could not help with locating my luggage, but they did start a claim immediately. When I returned home, they processed my claim quickly and efficiently. Travel policy is well worth the peace of mind.
Travel Insured was professional. The initiiial claim was as easy as a telephone call, Then they sent the claim papers, with a great email explaining the steps I need to follow. I did as they asked. They called once, and my claim was settled in a few days. Wonderful, responsive, and timely would characterize their claim service.
They do not have great follow up service. 6 of us, including 4 children under the age of 9 were stranded at an airport due to our first plane had "black box" problems and couldn't leave the airport for approximately 2 hours, causing us to miss our connecting flight. There were no other flights out to our destination that night.
I spoke to several people from Travel Insured International and got zero assistance, just a lot of kind words and pacification. When I requested what I would need to file a claim when I got home, they said the "text messages" from the airline regarding the delay would suffice for proof.
Then, when I got home 9 days later, I called to begin a claim, and was told I would need written documentation from the airline regarding the delay and mechanical problems. Now, had they told me that during ONE of the several times I spoke to customer service while AT the airport, I would have been able to get the requested information.
However, since it was over 7 days since my flight delay, the phone reps at United Airlines were unable to help me get the documents requested. Instead, they directed me to an email "feedback" system, that will take 8 to 10 weeks to even respond!

Overall, the claims process was lengthy and confusing. We had the correct documentation and without question, the claim was processed and all our expenses were covered. The telephone service personnel were friendly but not all that helpful, from the first call made at the airport during the delay to the claim assistance personnel themselves. My recommendation is to document everything, and remember to ask at the very first call exactly what will be needed in chance a claim will need to be filed. Don't ask later because some evidence or documentation is very had to get after the fact. More assistance and information should have been given to us from the very beginning and at the first call made to customer service during our missed connection at the airport.

This insurance was the only one who would would cover trip interruption due to illness of a non- traveling family member.
Unfortunately my wife was injured just days prior to our trip. I contacted Travel Insured the next day as there was no way we would be able to travel. The Claim was started, the forms were immediately emailed to me. I filled them out and faxed them back with all the requested information and within 48 hours of them receiving my completed claim forms I was notified that my claim was processed and my check was on it's way.I am & was very pleased with the way this was handled and will DEFINITELY be using them again. I found SquareMouth travel insurance to be much lower than other companies and was very pleased with my interaction with the customer service representative I spoke to. She helped me understand my options and guided me to the most economical solution for the coverage I needed to purchase to protect my trip purchase. The process was quick and easy and the website is well designed. As it turned out, there were no complications with my trip so I had no need to file a claim and cannot comment on the claims process.
Claim handled quickly and without hassle. Very good experience.
