We had a to cancel our trip for health reasons ~4 weeks prior to departure. Most of our travel and lodging expenses were refunded by the hotels and airlines; however, there were several random expenses (pre-paid tours, ground transportation, travel agent costs ) that weren't refundable. It took time with paperwork, but we were very happy that those were all reimbursed in full by TII.
The phone agent was very helpful, walking me through the claims filing process, and the necessary paperwork was sent promptly via email.
Purchasing was good. For the first time I actually did get sick and paid for a doctor visit and antibiotics so hoping to hear back soon regarding my claim.

event ...your specialist found a different policy that covered Scuba Diving.....I was worried once a policy was purchased it couldn't be changed but your specialist told me I had 10 Days to change or cancel....what a relief...any way a great experience as I have purchased atleast 10 policies from you........the fine print or definitions of risky activities can vary widely..... now I realize this and be more careful in the future ...Thanks to your Specialist.........THANK YOU FROM ,,,,Tom Kelly
Claim personnel were polite and courteous. Our claim is being processed and we have not received an approval as of yet.
I thought the process was easy enough. The insurance was required.
The application was easy and clear. The information received was clear.
The best part everything on my trip went smooth and I did not have to make a claim but it felt good knowing I was covered if I had an unforseen event or accident.
