I had peace of mind knowing that I was covered for just about everything. Alot of the others purchased insurance thru the tour group that we used and found out they weren't covered for lots of stuff. We traveled in three separate groups. One group had flight problems and arrived without there luggage. Inconvenienced with no coverage for 4 days. One woman actually didn't get her luggage until the last day of our trip.

I find the multiple options and policies confusing. More guidance would be helpful. For example, if my policy includes rental car damage coverage, can I safely waive all optional insurance from the car rental company?

We had poeple who had to evacuated from the ship due to illness/injury. It was discussed at lunch and many people did not know their regular health insurance may not cover them when traveling outside the US.
