I had a couple of questions predeparture. They provided satisfactory answers to all my questions. Since I didn't make a claim, I can't really rate them. However, I intent to give them another try in the future.
I have no idea why they did not pay me the whole amount of my claim. My policy says 100% of trip cost of $7,998.00 for trip cancellation. They paid me only $7734.07 total. So, I donât know where the $263.93 went. The $7734.07 was ACHed to me so I did not get an explanation where the difference went. Had i received the whole amount, Iâll give them 5 stars.
Travelex is completely non-responsive. They did not answer any of my emails. Their website is broken - clearly looks like it is missing important CSS. Generally this all makes very unprofessional impression and I am becoming concerned if my claim will ever get processed.

We have contacted BHSIC on your behalf and have been advised your claim was initiated on August 12, 2024, with documentation provided on 8/17/24. Today is the 14th business day since submission. Claims are reviewed in order in which they are received, and within 15 business days.

Purchase was easy. Appreciated the reviews - that said, the claim process so far has been really drawn out and customer service with Travelex has not been great. They told me 15 business days to review, and after 20 finally emailed to say they needed a bunch more documents - that was a week ago and since responding the same day, I have heard nothing.

They told me it would be 15 business days, but it was over 30 before the claim was resolved. Otherwise, it was fairly strait forward to process the claim. Everything was done online and via email, which could be slow at times.

We have contacted BHSIC on your behalf and they have advised that three of the documents submitted were in a format that are not supported. They reached out to you on both August 12th and August 22nd regarding this matter. Since those emails were sent the claim documents were received in a supported format and the claim was paid on September 4, 2024.

I interacted with Travelex customer service both over the phone and through email. They were friendly, responded quickly, and were able to specifically answer all of my questions. My claim was approved within 15 business days of providing the information they asked for. I have already purchased a policy from them for my upcoming trip.
Extremely slow customer service. We filed two claims although there was no clear instruction on how to send it other than e-mail to customer service. We believe we got clearance for the first claim to be reimbursed, but we have not heard anything since for over 2 weeks. Our second claim was submitted, but we received no confirmation of receipt or anything to confirm they're reviewing it. I would not use TravelEx again, nor would I recommend them to others.

BHSIC did reach out to advise your claim will be reviewed within 15 business days. Today, August 1, 2024 is 8 business days since documentation was received.
