The entire process was just so easy though I did not need to file a claim knowing I was covered was Peace of Mind!
I was in Nepal, became ill, I contacted HTH and they were very responsive. They made some reasonable requests for information on the first claim which I was able to submit online, That claim has subsequently been paid. The second claim was billed directly to them as the medical provider was pre-approved by HTH. All in all,;fast, responsive, no problems and was reimbursed as I expected.
It was nice knowing that SquareMouth was there in the background to maintain parity if necessary
I thought there might be a problem with our plans and called to find out our options and the questions were answered without hesitation Our trip went on as planned

This comment is about their customer service while traveling only. Since no claim was made, I cannot comment on that.
The issue I had with HTH is that I needed to reach their customer service while abroad, only to find out that they are NOT available 24/7, like every other travel insurance that I've used in the past. I got sick and had questions about the policy to rebook my return because of that. Their 24 hrs line could not help me with my questions -they only provide doctor/hospital locating and translation services-and referred me to customer service, which is only open Mon-Fri. It was Sat though and the flight to be changed was Mon morning, with the time difference equaling Sun Night in the U.S., so I couldn't get my questions answered, my flight rebooked and had to travel risking my health. This is not good and I will not choose them again. 24/7 customer service is extremely important when traveling abroad.

It was a very reasonable cost, but fortunately we didn't have to use it.
Nice piece of mind, although I didnt have to use it.
