    It was something I was advised to do, to get this insurance. After I purchased it, I never gave it another thought , as nothing happened to require insurance . I am thankful for that.

    I was unable to go on my trip, had not recovered from Covid 3 weeks prior. Cancelled the trip 2/6/24, informed HTH Travel Insurance, filed the appropriate paperwork. I had a question on the financial documenation of payment they wanted. It took a week and another email to get an answer. Sent those additional papers on 2/20/24 to Nationwide TravClaims. No response so far by 2/23/24.

    I submitted all documents requested, and am still waiting for payment of my cancelled trip. The company is unresponsive, and extremely slow. Very disappointed that I have not yet received my trip reimbursement covered by trip insurance. I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend it.

    The process was longer than anticipated but it was finally completed. In contacting their customer service department, I was treated with good knowledge and good answers. The only disappointment was the delays but we can live with that.

    This is the first time I have made a claim with a travel insurance company. It was a medical claim. I was very surprised at the fast resolution. I emailed the required information and received a check today. Total time was about two weeks. Very satisfied with this company and the process. Will be using again.

    After comparing plans and prices and some reviews I made a purchase. I did call to inquire about coverage after the war in Gaza started as my trip was to Egypt. I got the information I needed by a helpful representative.

    I am satisfied overall because the full amount of my claim was paid. My only complaint was that even with positive Covid test results from an outside lab, the claim team needed a signed form from a physician. We found this process to be onerous and stressful since we were traveling. Urgent care clinics refused to sign the form so it was inconvenient. A positive lab test should be enough in my opinion.

    I had to cancel my trip.......So, I originally sent an email (online) claim in on November 29. I then sent in a claim form by US mail on December 8. I had to call the company on December 18 to see what was happening to my claim. It was a good thing I called because they said they needed more information, which I then faxed to them (they did NOT contact me about the information they wanted. As a matter of fact, they HAD the information but I re-sent it)....
    I called on December 26 and was told they had sent me a check on December 22. I called on January 12 to see where my check was. They told me they sent it December 21 (hmm). I was told to wait 30 days to call back again. On January 22 to tell them I STILL had not received my check...I was told they would communicate with me in a couple of days via email about the check. I have not heard anything from this company.
    Horrible communications and horrible (so far) company to dealwith.

    I, unfortunately, had to utilize medical facilities on my most recent trip, and had a good experience with HTH. It took a while to be connected to the 24 hr help line, but once I did, they emailed me a list of hospitals they recommended. In addition, since HTH is directly connected with GeoBlue, they noted which facilities are affiliated with GeoBlue, and those places 'may' direct bill, avoiding paying myself first and making claim later. I went to one of those medical centers, and in the admissions area, they informed me that to obtain that direct payment, they needed a note/letter/email from HTH-GeoBlue of guarantee of payment. After searching online for a while for the right phone number, I was connected to someone who instantly created that email for me, and sent it to me and to the hospital. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. With that letter in tow, I was able to be seen, treated and released without payment on my part. This made the entire episode easier on me. So, I had a very positive experience with HTH and would absolutely use them again.
