I am in the process of filing a claim. My trip was canceled due to COVID. So far the process has been easy to file the claim.
I have been told my insurance claim will take 70 days to process, this is inordinately long. The online claim forms did not work and I had to contact customer service and do it via DocuSign. I must say the lady I spoke with was incredibly helpful.
Need to my claim. Have not received a response.
Only being able to call a "customer service" number, which is in actuality a general answering service instead of an actual, "knowledgeable" company representative is inexcusable...

I had covid and unfortunately had to cancel my trip to Mexico. I filled out & sent all necessary paperwork - now i am waiting to hear from them.
Simple to use and price was good
1. I took the time to call prior to obtaining this policy. I spent about 1/2 hour asking questions and was very specific about particular scenarios. After purchasing the policy, I don’t believe I was given accurate information.
2. I filed my claim on a couple weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. I chatted with a rep and confirmed they received it and it was in line for review. This seems unreasonable to not get status updates.
We had to cancel our trip due to Covid 19. I submitted a claim to John Hancock on 1/21/2022 on the form they had sent to me after speaking with me on the phone. I am awaiting their response as of today, 2/2/22.
