We have been in touch several times. Once d/t a fire where I was staying in Oman. Fire was on 2/11/22. Then I had positive covid test and could not fly so had to change flight plans and was in touch with them again.
I have just been home since Sunday. I have just received my visa bill and am at the library now to make copies of things and print things from my emails to include with the claim forms. I have every intention of filing my claim as soon as possible. I am also waiting for the police report number from my son-in-law for proof that we did have a fire.

The customer service was great. The vacation went well and having the insurance gave us peace of mind. Next time I will get a plan with even more coverage during these crazy times just to make sure I have that full peace of mind because I was very anxious before leaving on my trip. Waiting for results
Claim process is slow. Agents can’t even tell you if you have all the documents submitted. Can’t even give you an estimated review time. Could be 90 days!
Wait time to speak with representative was long
During the trip, we decided to extend the trip length. Since we had no claims, the process was amazingly smooth.
Can't really answer the last two questions since the claim was just filed.
I am in the process of filing a claim. My trip was canceled due to COVID. So far the process has been easy to file the claim.
I have been told my insurance claim will take 70 days to process, this is inordinately long. The online claim forms did not work and I had to contact customer service and do it via DocuSign. I must say the lady I spoke with was incredibly helpful.
