Before Trip
After shopping several travel insurance carriers, I chose Sqaremouth because they offered better coverage for less money than their competition. I was able to choose the level of insurance I wanted that contained the specific item coverage I was looking for. Although I will not be making a claim, I would definitely choose Sqaremouth again, especially for costly trips overseas.

Glad policy was not needed. But felt confident that we had purchased it.

After purchase, I really had no contact with the company.

I called to ask about travel insurance ID tags for my luggage to help in recovery if they were lost or delayed and they said that they did not supply them. I had received some from another travel insurance carrier and they saved the day while traveling in Italy on a previous trip.

During Trip
I did not encounter any problems during our trip, therefore I did not have to contact them.

During Trip
I did not need any interaction with the insurance during my trip.

My representative was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and very, very helpful. If I could remember his name (sadly, I failed to find it for this survey), I'd recommend him for a big raise.

Read the insurance information carefully. I bought roomright because I thought the price was reasonable and compared well with other insurances. I should have gone with my American Express. Apparently, I did not purchase the "cancel trip for any reason" and so I had only a few reasons to cancel my treip. Unfortunately, I came across a visa issue, and that was not a valid reason. Will not be doing business with roam right, which gave me a false illusion of being covered. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that the customer service rep was relatively nice.
