My wife came down with altitude sickness in Peru and had to seek local medical attention and cancel part of our trip. When we contacted them on the road , they were very supportive . We now have to file the claim so will see how that goes.

I was a little confused as to what they actually covered even when I already had purchases the policy. And how I would go about using the policy if I had needed to.

Very easy to use the online comparison of policies. I had a couple of questions prior to purchasing and called SquareMouth Customer Service. They were responsive and gave helpful guidance. The policy chosen was more extensive while being less expensive and met our needs better than the policy offered by the tour company we were traveling with. Fortunately, we did not need to make a claim but felt comfortable that we were adequately covered in case there was a problem.

It provided exactly the coverage I wanted, at an excellent price. I would recommend this policy to other travelers.

I claimed, because I could not make the trip due cancellation of flight ticket by airline without my knowledge.
Roam right says that is not covered.
Why we getting insurance which does not cover this situation?
I will tell everyone, everywhere, that Roamright is no insurance to buy. I had most terrible experience with this insurance..

All our questions about pre-existing condition coverage were answered promptly and professionally.

I've told many of my friends about Squaremouth! I normally hate buying insurance but you make it so much easier to see what I'm getting!

I didn't need to file a claim so cannot comment on the policy. I asked a question of their customer service dept after buying the policy and it was answered quickly and courteously.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer a few days after my wife and I booked a cruise and paid for the travel insurance. I cancelled our trip within a few days of Dad's diagnosis. When I called RoamRight, they explained how to file a claim and which forms to submit.

I submitted the claim forms and received full payment for the covered travel expenses within one month.

I wouldn't hesitate to use RoamRight again. Their price was fair and their service was prompt.

Merely asked a process question of RoamRight. Got my answer. No claim was necessary.
