Easy and professional
On 11/1/21 we filed claim # 14686566 for Policy # 9RTC19-28311. It is now 12/18/21.
This is the first time we have heard anything from you.
WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG ? You wanted our $$$$ immediately.
Why are you waiting another 4 weeks to contact us to REVIEW our claim?
We are disappointed with your timeframe and customer service.
We will have to seriously consider other travel insurance companies for our future trips.

I would recommend Seven Corners for Trip Insurance.
When I called Seven Corners' 24 Hour Assistance, the agent was very friendly and helped me understand what info I needed to document and she put a note in my file showing that I had in fact called when I had a trip interruption.
I collected all my documentation and sent in the claim to Seven Corners when I returned home from my trip a few weeks later, and the claims representative helped me understand what info was needed. They paid my claim in full for which I was grateful.
My only complaint was how long it took for the claim to be reviewed. I waited over a month after submitting my claim, and it hadn't been looked at in that time. I had to call about it before it got prioritized for review. But, given how swamped they probably are as we're emerging from this pandemic, I'm happy that it was handled and paid very quickly after that!
Customer Service rep was extremely helpful in getting me the proper policy. Not pushy in any way, very friendly and took time to fully explain the policy. I will be taking out travel coverage to cover the whole year soon.
I had to extend my trip and found that the policy could not be extended after the trip started.
I could not get customer service on the phone and communicated via an online chat.
So: not a good policy if trip plans change after underway.
