Processing of claim was easy without a lot of hussle.
Fortunately I cancelled soon enough for everyone to be able to rebook. The refund processing was fast and they answered my many questions. They did, however, require 24 pages of documentation for 2 airline tickets and 4 hotel cancellation fees. It took days to get everything together.
It probably cost them more in man hours to process than any other costs.
Trip insurance is something you hope you never need and fortunately in this case we did not need it. Since we did not file a claim I can not talk about the performance of Seven Corners, but they seemed very professional and there policy appeared to over very good coverage. I had confidence that they would have done a good job, but you never know? I was suspicious of cheaper insurance companies as they can say all kinds of positive things, but in the end you may never get anything from them if you make a claim. I think Seven Corners offered a real insurance policy.
Things went well, no problems.
Squaremouth is a wonderful company. The agents know their material, and listen carefully to make sure the customer gets what he/she wants and needs.
