This company is a pleasure to work with.
I had a horrible experience with Seven Corners. They didn't even bother to inform me that my claim was denied and it was denied in an unfair way. I will file an appeal. Moving forward, I will choose a better quality provider.
They easily answered a question about a changing travel date.
I had to change a date on my original plan and your customer service representative was helpful in doing just that! I’m happy to say I did not need to make a claim. Your insurance was peace of mind knowing I would be covered if unable to make my trip! Thank you!
I was ill and missed a flight. I purchased a new ticket.
I arrived home on 4 27 24.and was ill well into May 5th I called a 24 hour nurse with my personal ins. I also called a 24 hr nurse on 5 7 24.
Interaction thus far has been good
The customer service representative was so helpful when I had to call to ask what Seven Corners needed me to do to submit a claim when my trip had to be interrupted due to the death of my partner. She was kind and compassionate. I will never forget her help and sympathy.
My wife and I travel several months of the year. We have probably spent over $20,000 with Squaremouth buying travel insurance policies. Our basic expectation is that these policies will logically cover losses incurred on any of our trips. I don't read all 20+ pages of each policy certificate and even if I did, it's hard to envision every potential issue we may encounter. We have trusted that these provide logical and reasonable coverage. We have made a few modest claims over the years, but nothing significant.
This was an unusual claim for us, a volcano eruption near Borneo had closed down all Borneo airports and our flight was cancelled from Singapore to Kutching Borneo. The airline rescheduled us for 2 days later and we stayed in an airport hotel in Singapore for 2 extra days. They were unsure when and if airports would reopen anytime soon. Seven Corners, the insurance carrier reviewed the claim in a timely manor. They asked for more documentation, which I immediately provided. They transferred a partial settlement into our bank account before we even got the 2 letters. They split the claim into 2 claims, 1 they approved and the other they denied (($134.40). I was expecting that the 2 days we missed in Kutching, Borneo as part of our tour package would have been reimbursed. We reduced the potential loss by contacting our tour organizer and informing her of our 2 day late arrival and she was able to move all the activities on the 2 days me missed into later days. Our loss, itemized by her was 2 days lodging we paid for and did not receive. Reasonably and logically I expect this to be covered, only to my dismay, find out technically it was not covered under interruption or delay. I suspect that all policies are like this and shame on the carriers for not providing such basic coverage vs trying to avoid any and all payouts.
Sincerely,
Ron

A good inexpensive travel plan. I did not feel gouged due to my age.
It was good to know that I had insurance in case of an emergency. Thank you!
