Seven Corners Travel Insurance Reviews

Do not get an answer and got no help. I had a very hard time trying to file a claim as I also have a hard time using a computer. They would only allow me to use a computer and not mail my claim by mail. After all my years using Squaremouth I will be looking for other ways to insure my trips.

The only hiccup was there claim portal was wonky... could not upload attachments easily.

Seven Corners was highly rated and provided the coverages I needed for my recent trip at a cost that I was able to justify. They sent important information to me in a timely manner. Fortunately I had no reason to file a claim so I cannot speak to that part of the process.

I am so amazed with Seven Corners travel insurance. They are incredible! I purchased their Trip Protection Choice insurance before leaving on our cruise in the Mediterranean. I'm so glad I did! I've never been a believer of travel medical insurance since our medical insurance covers us in foreign countries, but my mind has been changed forever! A week before we left on our cruise I saw a news story describing two passengers that were airlifted from the cruise ship due to illness. I wasn't too sure that our personal medical insurance would cover that, and I knew our medical insurance wouldn't pay to repatriate us to the USA, so I thought it would be a good idea to look into travel insurance. While perusing the options on SquareMouth, my main concerns were primary medical, evacuation, and repatriation to our home either due to or after the illness/injury. Seven Corners' Trip Protection Choice filled all those boxes, with substantial coverage limits. I hoped I would never need to use it, but felt good that I had it. Then it happened...we were heading back to the hotel to grab our luggage and head to the airport at the end of our trip and we decided to stop by an ATM on the way. After using the ATM, my husband turned to walk away, slipped on uneven pavement next to the ATM and his legs went out from under him. With extreme pain in his hip, he was afraid it was fractured...and he was right. After an ambulance ride to the emergency room, many exams, xrays, and tests, we were told the bad news. He fractured his hip and needed surgery. We were given the option to go home and have the surgery done in the USA, or have the surgery done there (Athens, Greece). They told us to consult with our insurance company and make a decision. Originally he wanted to go home and have the surgery done in the USA. I immediately called Seven Corners from the emergency room and told them what had happened. Agnes walked me through the process on the phone, explained how quickly we could expect the medical evacuation if we chose that route, and immediately sent me an email with all the information we had talked about. I relayed the news to my husband, but due to his extreme pain, he decided he wanted to have the surgery in Athens and return home after. Once I got my husband admitted to the hospital and taken care of, I contacted Seven Corners again and told them of our decision. Over the next week, Seven Corners (and especially Sarah) became my new best friends. They were in constant contact with me by email and phone. They returned my emails immediately with any questions I had and followed our progress every step of the way. Once my husband was ready to be discharged and released, they set up our return flights home and even sent a nurse escort on the flights with us to take care of my husband! I was blown away! My husband had only been out of bed once since the surgery, so the nurse escort was definitely needed. I couldn't have got him from the wheelchair to the airplane seat by myself. The nurse escort was continuously monitoring his vitals, controlling his pain, administering his meds, and encouraging him to eat and drink water. Arman, our nurse escort, was a lifesaver! We weren't home 30 minutes when I received an email from Seven Corners welcoming us home and checking in with us. Seriously, Seven Corners more than exceeded my expectations. They were fabulous. If you are considering travel insurance, I highly recommend Seven Corners. I will always use them from now on, and I doubt any other company can compare. They are that good!

I would purchase Seven Corners again. Great customer Service. Answered all my questions.

They will not address the lap top that was damaged due to the flights overhead storage compartment.
There was almost two hours flight delay , but they cover it if it was six hours.
Last time I will obtain Seven Corner Travel Insurance.

Called after trip completion with questions about possible trip interruption claim. Received email with detail instructions for claim submission. Completed claim submission on-line. Claim was paid and in my checking account in 3 days. Fast and easy!

I made a request via email to Seven Corners customer service. They responded within 48 hours granting me what I wanted.

Peace of mind knowing all was well.
