Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
Writing this on behalf my mother. She purchased a policy that should cover trip cancellation for illness from Seven Corners. She got COVID and has a memo from her doctor and the invoice for a non-refundable Air Canada ticket. I helped her send in those documents to the insurance and received a reply that they need a cancellation statement from Air Canada. Air Canada refuses to send one since she was a no show. My mother wasn’t thinking right and does have dementia and yes she did not officially cancel. So Air Canada keeps her money to include the taxes they should refund and the insurance refuses to pay. Were talking about $400 but buyer beware that it isn’t easy to claim if you have an issue and maybe they take advantage of elderly.
After I filed my minor ($150) medical claim application with supporting attachments, they asked for information already explained and provided. However, when I responded with further explanation, they approved the claim in a timely manner. I would use Seven Corners again.
It gave me piece of mind to have the Squaremouth travel insurance, due to our trip across the Atlantic, should problems arise. The customer Service help was superb.
My bag was delayed. They won't pay out. It's ridiculous. They won't talk about it on the phone. Just DENY! Don't use 7 corners
My claim is still under review. Can’t provide any experience feedback until my claim is closed.

Per the underwriter, I must provide receipts to receive reimbursement. But due to the remote location I traveled, there’s no big establishments. So there’s no receipts provided. Everything is transacted in cash only. I’m disappointed and feel that I paid the insurance coverage for nothing. Useless
The customer service was very efficient and helpful
Claim filed. Wsiting.
I filed a claim for my policy which was from June 20th through July 5, and not only was the wrong time period referenced, but it appeared that every effort was made to not pay on a seemingly legitimate claim.
I am certain that a 3 hour delay was a qualifying event, and the response noted that I had to exceed 6 hours of delay.
I am overall not satisfied with the decision.
Our original Jetblue flights were canceled without notification. We found out 27 hours before departure. This cancelation without notice would have caused a delay, which we avoided by booking with a different airline (at the additional cost in our claim). If we had not booked the new Delta flight, we would have missed our tour in Mexico. Then Seven Corners would have to reimburse our entire nonrefundable amount of $14,024 instead of the difference in airfare of $1777.72 in our current claim.
Our claim was denied and we are currently appealing the decision.
We unfortunately had to cancel our trip and I found working with Seven Corners to be extremely easy. The claim was settled promptly with no problems. Much easier than past experience with other trip insurance companies. Would definitely use them again.
