Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
I had an accident at home a week before our scheduled departure on the trip that I had insured with Seven Corners. As a result of my injury and the need for follow-up treatment, it was necessary to cancel our participation in the expedition. I notified Seven Corners immediately and provided all the documentation they required, but I am still waiting for their response regarding my claim. The accident occurred on March 8, 2023, and I began the claim process on March 9th. On May 1st, I received an email from the Seven Corners Escalation team indicating that my claim had been escalated, but I am still awaiting their decision.

I am satisfied with the outcome, as I was reimbursed the total cost of the trip which we had paid to the tour company. I was dissatisfied with the timeliness and lack of communication during the claim process. I filed the claim on the day following my accident which led to our needing to cancel the trip. I provided all the documentation as soon as it was requested. I thought the claim would be settled in about 6 weeks, but it took 4 months. When I did receive an email from the claims department indicating that resolution would be forthcoming, it always took much longer than they had promised that it would. I followed up twice - first by email and then by phone. It was not until after I had contacted Squaremouth relative to this matter that I received the check from Seven Corners.
I have used Seven Corners on several cruises and had to reschedule trips a couple of times. They were very accommodating in switching the insurance to the new schedule. Although I have never made a claim, I am very happy with their before-trip services Thank you Seven Corners.
Purchasing was a "piece of cake" online -- I am a return customer, so that element is not a surprise!
However, about 12 hours after purchase, I realized I had made a mistake on a rather important item!
I was distracted in shifting back and forth from US date format to European date format and entered incorrect data.
The attention from your customer service office was exemplary - problem solved in 5 minutes, and proper documentation provided in 10 minutes!
All went well with the trip so no need for a claim. I made a mistake myself and purchased other insurance when I purchased my air ticket, thinking it would only cover air fare. I spoke with your representative when I realized I had double insured myself. Unfortunately it mean my primary medical became secondary . Getting primary medical was the main reason I used your policy. But it was my error and the representative that informed me that my medical was now secondary was very nice and clearly explained the effect of the earlier insurance purchase, which I later discovered overlapped several Seven Corners policy provisions
I will use Seven Corners again. I mask up when I travel and have had no casualties with illness. But I love your medical and evacuation coverage.
Easy process, claim paid promptly.
Had a trip reroute and 7 hour flight delay and spoke to your customer service department asking to hep with the the claim with the airline!
They were useless and told me to deal with the airline directly!
I told her I did but they were giving me a run around. I had email and birding pass to justify delay. The rep was not being helpful!
I was dissatisfied with service since I believe I purchased flight delay protection!!!
Seven Corners is a scam. They craft their policy to make collection impossible.
Good experience, but expensive. Seven Corners provided helpful information to assist in my choice of insurance.
I thankfully did not need to use it.
I will be making further inquiries before choosing insurance for my next trip. During my trip I met met a couple, who had a terrible experience with insurance (they did not/not use Seven Corners). The husband fell getting onto a boat, broke ribs and punctured his lungs resulting in critical care hospitalization for over 2 weeks. His insurance company had terrible customer service and did everything possible to get out of assisting the couple. Their tour company was surprised how unhelpful the insurance company and is working to assist. .
Based on my experience with Seven Corners, I believe the representatives would have been more helpful.
Many thanks

My flight was cancelled due to a storm that flooded the airport. I purchased a separate flight to get home, when I filed a claim to get reimbursed they told me it wasn't covered.
I just filed my claim and it is pending. I find buying insurance is easy, but getting information when traveling about a claim and then the process of submitting it and eventually getting paid can be difficult. It’s too soon to tell.
