I did contact a squaremouth customer service agent before I purchased the insurance. They were very helpful in guiding me toward what options I needed. Although I did not need require use of the insurance during travel, having the medical insurance oversees gave me peace of mind.
We needed to make a major travel date adjustment. They did the adjustment quickly and sent the updated policy details immediately.

on 8/26 I Provided a claim for one day trip delay due to flight staff issues. waiting for resolution. My rating will go up once my claim is resolved.
A pre-trip question was answered promptly. No further issues arose that required assistance.

I'm insured but luckily i did not get sick while on vacation which is more important to me. My advice to travellers is to purchase a travel insurance because you will never know what may happen during your trip.
My ratings were based on my experiences with Customer Service when we initially had to postpone our trip due to Covid in 2020 and again in 2021. I was extremely pleased with the responses I got—and that I could apply my policy to when we were able to travel again. I have recommended Squaremouth to many friends—thank you for reasonable price, coverage and your prompt response!

I filed a claim and haven't heard back so I can't rate my complete experience with Squaremouth yet
My wife lost a backpack some valuable merchandise in it on the train in Copenhagen, Denmark. We filed police report and and lost and found department at central station in Copenhagen and then we flew home in CA empty handed. On the first day we came back Monday 08/15/2022 we call you and we were instructed to file a complaint with all paperwork attached via email. The time it took from the time we called until all paperwork submitted less than 3 hours and Seven Corners even emailed us back to let us know that it will take approximately 6 weeks to process our clamp.
Finally, we had some very good news from Denmark that they found and gave it back to our friend in Copenhagen with everything still inside then we contacted you back to drop off our clamp.
This time we are very lucky that every one in my family is in good health, nothing has had happened a long the way, we come back to the US and every one were able to go back to work on Tuesday of 08/16/2022 and now I know that I have one more reason that I should buy travel insurance that you pay if we lose our luggage.
From now on, whenever we travel, we should buy this insurance and we recommend every one out there to do the same.
