  • Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

We were provided with the type of insurance we needed at a reasonable price. We needed to change the dates of our trip and the customer service at Seven Corner’s handled my request quickly and efficiently.

I tested positive for Covid so we could not return to the USA as planned and had to delay our return for several days until the test came back positive. This resulted in expenses for airfare, hotel and other items. I contacted the agent using the number on my wallet card. The agent acknowledged coverage and immediately sent the claim form.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Basic

I unexpectedly tore a tendon right before our trip and it greatly limited my experience. I contacted customer service to see if I could get a wheelchair during my trip so I could get around with my family. However apparently I was only covered for Covid not an injury that limited my mobility. A big disappointment with the coverage.

    1. Seven Corners was very nice - and helpful as we were stranded with a Covid positive test.
    2. They told us we were covered up to $3000 with documentation. - which we provided on April 20.
    2. We filed the claim on April 20 - and received a note that it was assigned May 3. Originally they said it could take up to 80 days to respond.

Happy for you to expedite this - if possible. Thanks.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Basic

It was easy to purchase travel insurance and all policy details were easy to read. Customer Service was helpful in providing advice on what documents would be needed. It was easy to upload all the documents into my claim and to keep track of the status of the claim on the website. Still waiting for review of claim.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

This policy was considerably less than the one recommended by my tour. I am glad I got the insurance even though I did not need to use it. Another party on our trip suffered a ruptured appendix on the day of arrival and was in the hospital for the duration of the trip. The peace of mind knowing I had insurance was worth every penny! Glad I did not need it but felt the value of having it and the cost was excellent.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

When purchasing I was informed covid quarantine would be covered at $250 pp daily up to $2500 each.

When I called customer emergency service they said that wasn't the case, only $1000 total. And directed me to just file a claim.

    It was upsetting.

I was told that since we contracted Covid during our originally planned journey, we did not need to extend our policy, just to save receipts. I hope this holds true as we are still stranded in Spain, unable to fly home. We have letters of recovery but they won’t be good until May 11 and I already have flights booked.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Basic

It took a few months for Seven Corners to contact me about my claim, and their first request was for me to provide a credit card statement which I uploaded to their website. After several more weeks with no activity, I called customer service by phone and they said they couldn't find the statement even though I could still see it online. I e-mailed the statement and received confirmation that it had been sent. A few weeks later, the website said my account status was still closed, so I started an online chat with Seven Corners. The customer service representative on that chat was able to find the original statement I had uploaded right away and sent my claim for expedited review. The claim was eventually paid, but the process was poor and everything depended on finding the one customer service person who could help.

It has been nothing but a struggle and frustrating experience. I filed on January 12th and it is now May 7th and still have no answer on my claim. Still waiting, all I am told when I call is that it takes more time. Amazing how you have 14 days to purchase insurance, been months since I filed and still nothing
