Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
It was easy to purchase travel insurance and all policy details were easy to read. Customer Service was helpful in providing advice on what documents would be needed. It was easy to upload all the documents into my claim and to keep track of the status of the claim on the website. Still waiting for review of claim.
This policy was considerably less than the one recommended by my tour. I am glad I got the insurance even though I did not need to use it. Another party on our trip suffered a ruptured appendix on the day of arrival and was in the hospital for the duration of the trip. The peace of mind knowing I had insurance was worth every penny! Glad I did not need it but felt the value of having it and the cost was excellent.
When purchasing I was informed covid quarantine would be covered at $250 pp daily up to $2500 each.
When I called customer emergency service they said that wasn't the case, only $1000 total. And directed me to just file a claim.
It was upsetting.
I was told that since we contracted Covid during our originally planned journey, we did not need to extend our policy, just to save receipts. I hope this holds true as we are still stranded in Spain, unable to fly home. We have letters of recovery but they won’t be good until May 11 and I already have flights booked.
It took a few months for Seven Corners to contact me about my claim, and their first request was for me to provide a credit card statement which I uploaded to their website. After several more weeks with no activity, I called customer service by phone and they said they couldn't find the statement even though I could still see it online. I e-mailed the statement and received confirmation that it had been sent. A few weeks later, the website said my account status was still closed, so I started an online chat with Seven Corners. The customer service representative on that chat was able to find the original statement I had uploaded right away and sent my claim for expedited review. The claim was eventually paid, but the process was poor and everything depended on finding the one customer service person who could help.
It has been nothing but a struggle and frustrating experience. I filed on January 12th and it is now May 7th and still have no answer on my claim. Still waiting, all I am told when I call is that it takes more time. Amazing how you have 14 days to purchase insurance, been months since I filed and still nothing

Excellent customer service
Knowing I have travel protection is load off your mind. I have to file a claim as I tested positive for COVID while in Amsterdam. Knowing I had someone to rely on was so benefical.
Tested positive for Covid.
