    This is the third trip for which we've used Tin Leg insurance. Each time we have been pleased with the quote and purchase process and service received when we contacted Customer Service with questions. As we paid for each trip in installments spread out over a period of several months, Tin Leg made it easy to add coverage monthly. I simply sent an email message to Customer Service indicating the increased trip cost and I received a new quote the same day. Because I had a credit card on file with Tin Leg, Customer Service simply applied the new premium to my card each month and sent me all of the proper paperwork reflecting each month's change. While we did not have a claim on two of our trips, we did file a claim on one. That claim was substantial as it involved an emergency air medical evacuation from the Serengeti, a ground ambulance and hospitalization; all of which affected our prepaid lodging and meals. When we returned home and filed the claim, Tin Leg handled it quickly and efficiently. We supplied the paperwork requested and within three weeks had two settlement checks in hand, with no questions asked. We were extremely pleased with their service, the coverage provided and the end result. We would not hesitate to recommend Tin Leg to any traveler and will certainly use them again ourselves. Their premiums are competitive, they offer excellent service, and you can't beat having the peace of mind they provide you when traveling far from home.

    Great, courteous, customer service! From the time someone answered they could not have been more attentive and helpful. Regrettably had to file a claim due to canceled airline flight. Within a couple of days I was contacted and assured my claim would qualify for reimbursement for my expenses that occurred due to the flight cancellation. As of now I need to complete my end of paperwork. Customer service walked me right through the whole process of filing a claim. Thanks again Tin Leg. I will never travel without your insurance!     Fortunately we did not have to file a claim. We found the cost for the insurance to be very affordable and worth the ease of mind knowing we had medical insurance available should it be necessary in Europe.

    My wife and I recently went on a 10 night Cruise and one of our hard side suitcases was damaged sometime between when we left it with the porter and when it arrived in our stateroom. I immediately notified guest relations on the ship of the damage and they did the best they could to repair and patch the crack in the suitcase so I could at least get my belongings home. I completed the damage report with the cruise line at guest relations while on our cruise and took pictures of the damage before they attempted to fix it. Upon our return home, after our trip, I called Tin Leg Claims department to file a claim for the damaged luggage and the claims representative Kasey was great to work with. She helped me complete the claim form and I submitted my pictures of the damage along with the claim form and the damage report from the ship and fortunately I kept my receipt when I purchased the luggage which helped establish the value. My experience with Tin Leg was a very good one and I will plan to purchase my next trip insurance policy with them. On a completely separate note we had 2 people on our cruise ship that had to be air lifted off the boat by helicopter due to medical conditions. I always recommend travel insurance especially for such a long trip and anytime you go out of the country. I am grateful we only had to deal with a broken suitcase and not a medical evacuation!!

    I noticed that my departure date for the insurance had February 20 and it was supposed to be February 19. they made the change without hesitation and sent me new ID cards very promptly.
