We filed two desperate claims, one medical and one trip delay. Everything was paid out in a timely manner. Agents were helpful in filling out forms and sending information

The process to file a claim was somewhat cumbersome. It took two months and several phone calls to get the claim processed. The customer service representatives were very pleasant but each time we called they said that our situation needed to be reviewed by someone else. The claim was in regard to a cancelled flight due to mechanical reasons and missing the first day/night of a tour. I have no idea why this would be so difficult to process!

I would actually my experience with Tin Leg during my trip as 0 stars but that option is not available. So far I would not recommend this policy to other travels but I have not filed the claim yet. Here are the reasons why. While I was on a trip to Israel I got very sick and per MD recommendation needed to go to the hospital for tests via taxi. Had used all of my cash to pay for the taxi because of all other medical expenses. Called Tin Leg for help getting cash (did not bring an ATM card). Only had a credit card. Finally got someone on the line. Explained my problem. Was put on hold for 20 min. Hung up and called back.. Got same person I had spoken to the first time. She told me she was sorry for the long wait. She was researching how to handle my problem. Asked me to give her my phone number at the hotel I was staying at so she could call me back as soon as she had a solution to my problem. That was on January 25, 2015. Today is February 28, 2015. I am still waiting for your representative to call me back. Sure glad I found another resource besides the insurance to help me. Wondering why I bought the insurance. Hope I don't get hassled when I file the claim.

Will definitely purchase again on our next trip. TinLeg even reimburse the transaction fee from the credit card company. Very satisfied, will recommend it to all our families and friends.

My complaint is with Tin Leg and Seven Corners. I had a trip delay which was not accepted because delays have to be caused by a common carrier. Tin Leg's Schedule of Benefits shows a Trip Delay being a minimum of 6 hours delay. Because we missed our flight because of a accident to the airport this was not covered. This is a typical insurance scam, don't pay and see what happens. Because the loss to me was missing one night at Secrets in Cancun, $606.39 in does not pay to use my lawyer, but small claims court might be the answer.

During our 2 months in Africa, I was glad to feel adequately insured, and even more glad to not need to file a claim.

Obviously, the most meaningful reviews come from those who do file claims, and that sometimes that seems to get hidden behind by the superficial comments concerning "how was your sign-up experience?"

Overall, I am a strong SquareMouth supporter.

First time purchasing travel insurance. Felt Tin Leg made it easy, and Square Mouth offered the plan I wanted for a competitive price. Will considered using them again the next time I travel.
