Trawick International Travel Insurance Reviews

I did not take my planned trip since the carrier declared bankruptcy. When I contacted Trawick International to get a refund of my premium, they would not refund me the entire amount even thought I did not use any of it. It was insurance for no purpose. I will never use them again. I have notified everyone I could think of to avoid Trawick in every way possible.

Good price and the representative was excellent.

I was apprehensive about buying this insurance because it was cheaper than the rest but I’m glad I did! Even though I didn’t have to use it, I had peace of mind about my trip.

I have had no problems with Trawick International. I am busy filing a claim and should submit it in the next week.

I called claims department upon my return due to my jewelry being stolen. The woman I spoke to was not knowledgeable and had difficulty answering my questions. She insisted my policy did not cover loss of jewelry. After speaking with her, I read my full policy and discovered that my policy did cover jewelry theft. However, I could not file a claim, because I did not file a police report, as it was discovered upon leaving the resort, and I would have missed my plane. Very dissatisfied as a result of being given incorrect information.

The reason for my negative review is that this company did not provide any assistance with my claim made as a result of the bankruptcy of American Queen and the cancellation of this trip. I submitted a claim for trip cancellation and instead of Trawick’s honoring that contract, I was instructed to dispute the charge through the credit card provider. Now I have started the process to recover the premium, because the company did not honor its commitment. I will be making an effort to advise as many people as possible through social media to avoid purchasing from this company.

I would not recommend this company and would advise anyone who is contemplating purchasing travel insurance to avoid using them.

Only experience I have is speaking with a customer rep regarding submission of a claim. The customer rep was very helpful and professional. I have not received any feedback yet regarding the claim.
