IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
I had no issues or problems with this
My wife developed cancer and we had to cancel 6 months before the trip. We filed the claim on March 11 and did not receive payment until August 18. I had to call twice to get things moving ( a document request had been lost at the company) and get an update. Eventually, they paid in full.
This was generally a good experience. I'm a repeat customer, and I will be back again.
But there is a certain lack of clarity about the policy itself. There was a kind of pre-claim procedure that sounded like a way to avoid immediate payment for a claim. This was not, of course, made clear in the pre-purchase information.
As I say, I'll be back, but next time, I'll be asking questions about this.
My claim for a trip cancellation has not yet been processed. I had submitted required documentation earlier but recently received an email stating that more verification of payment of travel costs was needed (even though I had submitted invoices from the travel company showing my payments). I sent in more verification of the travel costs, mailing them in yesterday (September 13, 2019) and now am waiting to learn of the result of my claim.

We will need to file a claim as soon as I get my credit card statement so that I can make a copy as proof of payment to submit get mr claim started.
The claim settlement process is VERY VERY slow. I filed on a Cancel for any Reason policy over a month ago. I still do not have my refund.
It should not take this long to get less then $200.00 back. Very little communication about the status of the claim. They should be able to much better then this.

This was a very slow process to get my money back. I applied first part of August and just got my money yesterday, October 7, 2019
I sat a hold for 15 - 20 minutes each time I had to call ITravel Insured. They assured me my claim would be processed and paid within 20 days. That has not happened. It is now 26 days and they have not reviewed anything.
They make it extremely hard to file a claim. Not sure it is worth it in my case.
I contacted iTravel because I thought I might have to make a claim because of Hurricane Dorian. They were most helpful on how I should document and make my claim if I needed too. It all worked out and we returned home as planned with no flight interruptions.
Not being good using the computer, your representative walked me through setting up my insurance. I am extremely grateful. Thank you
