Overall, I was very pleased with my interactions with iTravelInsured. They were very easy to work. There was only (1) instance in which service could have been better: I contacted Customer Service with a question regarding determining the appropriate amount of coverage for my trip. The amount of insurable risk was scheduled to increase as it came closer to the Trip Date and I wanted to know what steps I needed to take to that regard. The individual I spoke with did not come across as confident with her response. As a result, I called back later to speak with another individual in Customer Service who came across as more knowledgeable and she helped me to understand the steps I needed to take. Since this was a single instance, I would not hesitate to do business with iTravelInsured again in the future.

Initial experience with travel insured re pre trip cancellation was terrible. I finally called Squaremouth and they got at terrific manager Wendy from Cardiff by the Sea Wales to work with me and to resolve our pre travel cancellation claim

THERE WAS A PRICE DIFFERENCE WHICH ITRAVELINSURED COULD NEVER EXPLAIN. THEY FAILED TO ENTER THE CORRECT TRAVEL DATES WHICH AFFECTED THE PRICE QUOTED. NOT OUR MISTAKE, BUT WE PAID FOR IT.
I needed to update our policy and it wasn’t very easy. I was actually concerned if we even had coverage with the lack of response I received for a few days. In the end, it all turned out fine, but with almost $20,000 not covered for a few days I felt very uncomfortable.

My on line experience was seamlessly handled. Customer service answered all my questions and suggested the best way to cover my insurance needs. Because it was a family trip, there were differences in the requirements for various family members. The policies that I decided upon covered us all for our vacation.
Have been trying to contact travel insurance and file a claim from April and was not able to talk to anyone.

I got stranded and called the 24 hour phone line ten times. Each time, the operator claimed they could not hear me. I called from 3 phone numbers. Try finding 3 different phones to make an international call. It was a pain in the ***, and in the end, I had to work it out on my own. There was no documentation from Virgin Trains UK regarding the cancelation, so I'm sure my claim will be denied. Waste of money.
