IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies.     My luggage was lost for 7 days, I did not recieve the full amount from you as per the policy. I also have a huge phone bill after calling air canada for may days trying to locate my case. Can I submit a claim for this?

    Some confusion at IMG whether I could purchase a second policy to cover airfare only instead of simply increasing the cost of the original policy, but after several phone calls this was resolved. Reps at IMG were helpful and patient as we worked through it.

    I checked with IMG as to whether the event that occurred and the refund I requested would be covered. I was assured it would be. I have now filed a claim and await a decision.

    IMG policy: iTravelInsured Travel Lite

    I had purchase travel Insurance for my husband ENRIQUE AMADOR LAST Aug 8, 2023 for our travel from October 18- jan 27 2024.
    Unfortunately Mr Enrique Amador died October 23, 2023 in Medical City Hospital emergency room, Pasig, Metro Manila.
    The next day My daughter who was in USA contacted your IMG to seek for assistance. They were helpful and my daughter flew ASAP the next day and purchased her own Ticket. As Talking to the insurance company IMG we tried to comply to allthe required documents needed as soon as we arrived to USA. Meantine from Oct 24-Oct 29 my husband was temporarily placed in Arlington Chapel funeral Home, not knowing yet how we will manage to bring him back home to New Jersey. He ended up cremated and we flew back Nov 7 to USA. The delayed to return back is due to some international transfer regulations, airline rules and so on. as soon as we arrived to NJ,USA we STARTED OUR CLAIM OFFICIALLY WITH HIS i8ID NUMBER GIVEN BY YOUR OFFICE. TO THIS DATE WHAT HAD BEEN PAID ON OUR CLAIM ARETHE FOLLOWING
    1. EMERGENCY ROOM BILL IN DEC( $1608.76)
    2. iNTERRRUPTION TRIP FEB 5 ( $ 765.25)

    i JUST CALLED IMG TO INQUIRE WHAT is the status of the rest of our claims.. They said it will be still under review.
    I hope you can help me with the claims I had filed and would be nice to let me know what are covered in his policy.

    Claim for medical expenses was denied and in the appeal process, despite my policy clearly stating doctor visits and prescription costs are cover under the policy.

    I originally submitted the claim information on 1/24/24 and re-submitted information requested over the course of the next few weeks. I received an email on 2/26/24 indicating that my claim had been approved and send over to the finance team. Then I received an email requesting my routing number for my account which I provided. I have found that every time I submitted information or a question, it would take at least 1 week to 10 days to get any response. Then on 3/26/24 I received an email indicating that were pleased to confirm my claim had been reviewed and recommended for settlement. I feel that this claim should have been settled at least a month ago. As of this date 4/2/24, I have yet to receive any compensation or email indicating the detailing of the amount that will be paid.

    I feel that they have dragged their feet in the processing of this claim. When I have asked for further information on the status, I generally get a canned response that it is being worked on and thank you for my patience. Perhaps a more personal email indicating the steps being taken and a timelier response would have helped.
