Good experience overall
I was happy I was able to purchase my policy from a local Wisconsin agent. I was happy I purchased the policy, but I was thankful I did not need it. However, someone on the trip broke her ankle and required medical transport home….a reminder why insurance at our age is beneficial.
Have used Squaremouth a number of times over the years. Always easy to use. Fortunately we have never had a claim so can’t comment on that process.
The IMG website was very easy to navigate for uploading the claim. The customer service was excellent. There was good communication throughout the process. Based on this experience, I will use IMG again.
Purchasing the policy was fine, filing a claim however was extremely cumbersome while overseas. I did not have access to scanning/copying and phone pics were not accepted as too blurred. I could not call as my US phone did not work outside the USA. Emails kept requesting documentation already submitted so the process was extremely frustrating.
So far everything is going well with the claim. They needed some additional information, some of which seemed redundant, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Will have to wait a while for the outcome.
They made their coverage plans clear, had sufficient coverage required, and customer service answered all my questions thoroughly. I am glad I chose them.
To be determined. I fell and broke my arm and had surgery for reconstruction. IMG did not provide any care services and would not evacuate us. Husband had to provide nursing care for 11 days. Now we understand the arm is not healing properly and I am looking at long term care at home. This could have been avoided, and I expect IMG to pay for everything until I have recovered full use of my arm. Also, I want IMG to immediately reimburse the $8,500 we had to pay the hospital in Mexico in order to access care. Any non-cooperation on the part of IMG will be brought back to SquareMouth Zero Complaint service. Thanks for asking.

I had to involve SquareMouth and their “Zero Complaint Guarantee” to get any movement on payment from IMG. They didn’t answer direct questions, didn’t reply in a timely manner, it was frustrating.
The Square Mouth employee was great, and I would certainly use Square Mouth again. I would pic someone other than IMG.
I did finally receive payment, but not until the Square Mouth agent started reaching out to IMG.
