I had no problem filing my claim. I would purchase this travel insurance again!
Overall a good policy for my needs. Only reason I gave one less star is that I called customer service and the person helping me seemed annoyed by my questions. This was my first time purchasing travel insurance so I wanted to understand the terms. She was able to help me but it was less than pleasant.
I was satisfied that the travel nsurance paid for my emergency surgery saving my life. Eventually after laying in urgent care for 7 days . But i was not happy at all with the fact manner if communicating with reps.
Every time i sent an email i received email responses from different people and had to tell them oger and overbthe situation. Phone calls were difficult and getting a Spanish speaking rep was almost impossible.
The reps were all courteous and professIonal . But i still have not received an answer from the last email i sent a few weeks ago. Thank you steven plount
Agent was very helpful, price was high but waited too late to get better price.
Very easy claim process. After I filed claim, BHP took care of everything and no further input on my part.
I am still waiting to hear from them on my claim.
They are not reviewing it yet and not answering my emails.

It took them a long time to look at the claim and then more time when I sent additional information in for the claim.
I would probably not use them again.
I had to call Berkshire Hathaway twice to make changes to our travel dates. Agents were very helpful, efficient and professional each time.
Did not need to file a claim, but I did have to change the country covered on the policy. The agent did it quickly without issues.
Claim process was smooth and straightforward. Only “complaint” is that the approval took several weeks (was told it could/would take 4-5 weeks)
I filed a claim and the response letter said it would be reviewed in 11-14 business days. It has been well over a month. I called twice and they said it would not even be looked at until November 11th ???? They said they are still working on July claims.
This is ridiculous. I feel like I am being given the run around. I sent all requested documents.
What is the hold UP ?
