I filed a claim and the response letter said it would be reviewed in 11-14 business days. It has been well over a month. I called twice and they said it would not even be looked at until November 11th ???? They said they are still working on July claims.
This is ridiculous. I feel like I am being given the run around. I sent all requested documents.

No claims needed. Choosing purchase date was confusing for a first time purchaser. We only purchased flight insurance but had to pay based on when we booked our cruise a year before.
I would recommend your service because your agent was the greatest guy EVER. He was incredibly helpful. I was very nervous about purchasing insurance outside of one recommended from rental agency. As you know there’s been one hurricane after another in Fla & that was our destination. He addressed all my concerns & was as nice as he could be. Thankfully we did not need to make a claim & had a great time. Will def purchase in the future!

I am in the process of getting all receipts and payments together for submittal to Berkshire Hathaway Travel Ins. So far all is moving well on this claim. We'll see how this ends up.
2 months and no resolution to claim because they are too backed up and don’t have enough reviewers. They promise resolution within 10 days but don’t abide by it.
Trip was scheduled to fly into hurricane- very clear travel warnings in place. Received minimal assistance from the insurance company prior to travel – they would simply quote the plan to me without offering guidance. Ended up with travel interruption and travel delay. Claim placed after travel. Still waiting for a response three months later. Every time they ask for new information, they restart their two week time clock.

Claim was handled professionally and staff was always courteous. Only complaint is how long it took to resolve - months. Seems like claim department could use more people.
Customer service promptly answered coverage questions before we purchased. Our flights were slightly delayed but we thankfully got where we needed to be on time and with our luggage. Process to purchase policy was super easy. We did not need to file a claim but we were less worried about trip interruption etc with our plan coverage.
Put in my claim while still on vacation on 9/30 and have heard nothing from the company. Hoping to hear something from them soon at least stating they are working on the claim.
The travel assistant was friendly and quite helpful. Her name was Kenzie.
Our vacation went well with no incidents. Thank you for peace of mind in case of cancellation.
