Can’t say yet as I have not heard from them regarding my claim submission. It was relatively easy to file the claim on line

Simple online claim process. Fast review and payment of my claim. I am very happy with the level of service provided by Berkshire.
I ended up having a couple of unhappy travel issues while traveling in Spain for 11 days. First, I left my tablet on the flight to Madrid, and despite having my name and address on the tablet and filing a lost item report immediately with the airline, I have not gotten it back, and it's been missing for three weeks. I have tried pinging it using Find My Device, but it is unreachable. It's clear I will never get it back. Then, five days into the trip, I came down with a horrible sore throat so painful, I saw an urgent care doctor in Seville. I received treatment, and I had to schedule a lot of rest into the rest of my travel, unfortunately. As soon as we got back into our hometown, I filed a claim both for the tablet and the doctor visit with Berkshire Hathaway. We'll see whether or not the insurance works as intended in the next few weeks. I never wanted to use my insurance, but since I had it, I did file a claim.

My husband, Daughter, and I had all anticipated our wonderful travels through Spain for many months. So, when my tablet disappeared after the flight from New York to Madrid, and then I contracted terrible pharyngitis five days in, it was nothing less than traumatic. Having Berkshire Hathaway insurance through Squaremouth gave me the confidence to seek medical care in Seville and continue my travels. Without it, I might have hesitated because I would have been uninsured. Also, I was terribly upset about the tablet because I knew I had definitely left it in the seat pocket in front of me, and I immediately filed a claim with the airline. But they never found it (obviously, someone did find it, but kept it), and so I had to remotely wipe my accounts and change all my passwords. It was so frustrating to have these kinds of things happen on a "dream trip." However, the process to file a claim was simple, and everything went smoothly. It took 10 days to fully recover from my illness, and I had to get another tablet since I use mine constantly. I am now a RAVING FAN of Squaremouth and Berkshire Hathaway Insurance. I will never travel abroad without it, and I want to share my experience with my neighbors. I live in a 55+ community, and most of us are recreational travelers. Please let me know how to best share this information with them so they can also be insured during travel. I hope to never have to use it again, but if I do, I'll be glad I purchased it.
Very reasonable prices with good coverage.
I feel that the process of purchasing insurance was straightforward and clear. I had a medical emergency on my trip (quite minor from a medical treatment point of view, but an issue with mobility involving my left knee that could have spoiled the trip in a major way. One consultation and injection by a doctor was all that was required.
I was able to file a claim fairly easily. I initiated the claim by making a phone call, and the person who handled that phone call was professional and clear and their response.
Satisfied with the service provided
Flies a claim because of flight cancelled as I was pulling in to departing airport to come home. Had to spend an additional 1100 to get home.

I am thankful for the outcome. It was an added expense that I had to incur but thankfully the insurance covered it. I am very grateful I took the insurance and the claim was handle great .
I got sick in Bali, and Berkshire Hathaway were quick and easy to get ahold of for a reimbursement.
We contacted customer service less than 24 hours prior to our departure to ask if our insurance covered the emergency pre-term impending birth or our granddaughter, our daughter's newborn, and was suprised to find out that something like this was not covered. We typically end to take out travel insurance due to the fact that we have elderly ( 90 year old's) parents, knowing that if there are issues durning our travels we can get home to them quickly without incurring large travel change expenses. So knowing that imeditate family members are considered in the insurance coverage I was appalled that this was not a covered item.
The person I spoke with was understanding and apologized for the lack of coverage, she offered to cancel our policy to help a bit on the expense we would be encountering but this did not help. Luckily the baby was born, healthly and just hours before our departure so it worked out. But if you are ever considering leaving prior to a birth ( grand child or other) consider taking out cancel for any reason.
Filed claim, haven’t heard anything at all from the company.
Until now I have not yet been reimbursed with my damaged luggage.
