Why does it take so long to respond. My trip was through 1 vendor and our trip was interrupted in the middle because I fell and broke my hip. Pretty simple. You approved the hospital and surgery so why is it taking so long to resolve the claim.
Prompt response and guidance on what needs to be done. Awaiting reply on first part of the claim submitted pertaining to damaged and lost bags.
Awaiting billing and medical paperwork from hospital to present second part of the claim pertaining to medical issues.

I tried to call and ask trip delay coverage as my flight got cancelled at 3am. I got thru one person but she was not the right person. She transferred me to the right number but it went thru the voice mail. what's the point of 24 hour assistance?
Unfortunately two of our party got sick during our trip, and the policy fully covered their medical expenses. We also had to change flights to come home early to care for my mother in law, who was traveling with us but not covered under our policy, as she also fell seriously ill during the trip. The policy fully covered that additional cost, as well. The illnesses put a damper on our trip, but it was a great relief to know we were covered for these additional costs. We would definitely purchase travel insurance from BHTP again.
Getting sick during a trip is never fun, but we’re happy we could help cover the additional costs that came up as a result. We hope everyone is feeling better now and wish you safe travels in the future!

Travel Guard and others' prices r ridiculous.
However, the proof of the pudding is in the claims experience, and I didn't have one, thankfully.
So my ratings r kind of useless imo.
