Our flight got canceled and our rebooked flight was not suitable for us as it had us sitting apart which was not going to work with our young kids. I wasn't exactly sure how to proceed so I called their number. I got an agent right away that explained our coverage and how to proceed in booking new flights. After we got back, we filed the claim and it was paid out in a reasonable amount of time.

I took out an insurance policy for our trip to Mexico mainly for healthcare and medical evacuation coverage. When our flight was repeatedly delayed and then canceled I had to rebook on another airline. I remembered there was some trip delay and trip interruption coverage so I submitted extra charges I had to make that day such as an Uber to another airport, food and drink and added airfare on another airline. I was very pleased with the claim process. I simply had to file a claim and attach screenshots to an e-mail and await their decision. I was very satisfied with the outcome and the amount covered. I will definitely seek out Berkshire Hathaway for future insurance policies!

My claim experience with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection went very smoothly and was handled much faster than I expected. The entire process was clear and efficient, and I felt well supported throughout. I am extremely satisfied.
Why does it take so long to respond. My trip was through 1 vendor and our trip was interrupted in the middle because I fell and broke my hip. Pretty simple. You approved the hospital and surgery so why is it taking so long to resolve the claim.
