    Generali was very thorough in their investigation of my claim, which required some additional phone calls and paperwork on my part, but it all seemed reasonable and fair. And in the end they paid my full claim. Very satisfied.

    I was expecting the claim process to be a difficult, drawn-out process but was extremely pleased with how easy and quick the claim was handled. All their representatives were a pleasure to deal with.

    The claim making is a bit complicated rather than user friendly. It was just $200 car ride for missed connection flight and hired a car to catch up

    Generali has denied my claim because my husband has had arthritis for years and because he visited a doctor before our trip they have denied the claim. We have traveled oversees for 30 plus years and only his time did his arthritis both him. I am only asking for $1600 back instead of the 8000+ our insurance policy was for because both Delta Airlines and Priceline (even though they said we were not entitled to a refund) actually felt that we had such a claim that they issued us a credit. I will never purchase insurance through Generali again. They are cheaters. I am still working with my doctor because the reason we were not able to take our trip was because of pain in my husband foot after his ankle fushion. The pain is in the top of the foot not the ankle. That has healed perfectly. My husband is getting shot that seem to be working and if that should not work the doctor will go back in and cut the nerve on the top of the foot. The extreme pain occurred after the ankle fushion.
