I got the help I needed in a timely manner.
We had to cancel the trip. Generali's website was easy to use and easy to submit the required documentation. Reimbursement for the cancelled trip was made within 4 days of sumbitting the claim. I was impressed as this was a totally different experience I have had in the past.
Never took the trip as scheduled. Had a non-covered issue.
We did rebook the trip and obtained new insurance.
Travel assistance with attractions and excursions was very helpful.

So far I have talked to Mr Avion once and call him many times leaving messages and received no answer . Last Fruday ,I hear he is no longer with my case. Next I read a message that you are sending a check because I do not answer your e-mails. I keep having talks with the ansering service , but none of your employes are available . It has benn since September 12 that I am asking for help and I dont get it . Please call or send messages I can read
The claim was easy to complete minus a question about the airline's solvency. That question should be a criterion for your review before you issue the claim payment. Other aspects of the claim's submission process were efficient and user friendly. Additionally, the claim was paid in an unexpected time of 3 days. Thank you for making the process effortless
The 24 hour “assistance” was unable to find a place in Budapest that would provide treatment for a traveler. I called the places recommended by Generali but they were either for people with Hungarian national insurance or they were unable to see me. I used a new AI search app and found a fabulous place on my own.
For common tourist destinations, the insurance companies should be developing relationships with health-care providers who accommodate tourists.

Our baggage was held up for 3 days (the baggage arrived on our 4th day). We had a few things in our small bag, but had to buy shirts and jeans to get us by. The airline said it would be 3-7 days for our luggage to arrive so we got things for 5 days. I kept my receipts for everything including the info from the airline on where they had our luggage. The claim was handled quickly without delay, "you check is on the way!".... I could see where my luggage was with my cell phone and a "Tag" in each case...

I am unable to get an update from Generali GA regarding whether they received the documents I forwarded them via e-mail due to their online system being unable to upload them from my desktop. Thus the mediocre feedback.
