A bit of a problem getting a real person to talk to.
We were unable to go on our trip due to an unexpected surgery before the trip, but all payments were refunded. We contacted Generali and are planning to utilize the insurance for the trip when we travel later this year and after we purchase flights and rentals and finalize our plans. They provided us with an email link to get this done and hope to finalize the trip plans this summer and then travel later in the year.
Great pricing when compared to other insurers. Easy to work with. I priced the policy based on my age at the time of the trip. SquareMouth noted we were contracting for the insurance before my birthday and reduced our cost. We plan to use them for future trips.

We had to cancel
Our trip as my husband broke his femur then had a kidney stone attack so we couldn’t go any where. They handled everything beautifully and received back the check so we’re very 😃 happy.

This plan was transferred to cover a future trip. Customer Service listened to the circumstances and made the "switch" easy and seemless.
Generali”s Claim processing is cumbersome and they are requiring information that we never had to submit before, ie. Patient Authorization Form and Explanation of benefits from primary insurance. I can understand wanting to know if our primary will cover any of the claim, but patient authorization?? I submitted a signed credit card receipt for the medical care we paid for. That should be enough to satisfy proof of authorization
