Generali are very difficult to reach by phone. When we finally did speak with a representative we were told our claim was closing that day. We were not notified of that or what additional information they required. We had submitted all documents requested on the claim form..
We have since uploaded all additional documents and information requested, but have not heard from our claims representative as to the status of our claim.

The only assistance I was [provided was interpretation of the policy. We had a potential problem, and were simply told that the policy would not cover the issue. I had the impression that Global Assistance was broader than explanation of coverage.

I experienced flight delays that were leading to not making connections to my final destination. I booked a hotel and then continued travel the following morning.

I am currently waiting to hear back on another claim filed through Trawick/Nationwide which is taking MONTHS to resolve.
I will definitely purchase Generali Plans through Squaremouth again and NEVER again trust Trawick/Nationwide.

Easy paperwork to get reimbursed. My mother in law wounded her arm on a cruise.. So we went to medical cruise office and nurse stopped the bleeding and put a bandage. After I emailed paperwork In three weeks I got paid $90 from Generali through Zelle. I’m happy with the simplicity of the claim process. Excellent customer service.

My claim is because they canceled the flight in a different country. We were able to at least get a late night flight out somewhere to where we could drive home instead of stay overnight and incur all kinds of expenses and inconveniences, more than what we had already been through. At this point right now I’m trying to get the rental car reimbursed, that’s all. We will see how they handle this. They wanted an outrageous amount of documentation. Some of which, of course I couldn’t supply. We’ll see how things work out. I will gladly give you an update when you contact me. Thank you.
