Generali was unresponsive until Squaremouth got involved. I had to involve the Squaremouth agent at several points but in the end I did get reimbursed at the level I had requested. Thank you Squaremouth for being a consumer advocate!

Generali is the worst company. they are frauds and do not in any way honor their requirements. We are filing charges against them with local and federal insurance commissioners.

I called when our flight was canceled and was told we were insured for the delay. I filed a claim on 6/27 and never heard another thing from the company. There is no information on how to contact them other than through the claim website, and no one has responded.

I was able to complete my travel as planned, but my husband because ill before traveling and couldn't go. We filed a claim for his trip insurance. We submitted the requested information and received reimbursement very quickly. We will be using General Global for all of our future insurance needs!

I filed my claim with them and got an email auto response in one day. No further correspondence for 13 business days when I turned it over to you. Under your guidance Generali moved quickly and approved the full amount.

I am very dissatisied with my experience with Generali Global. My claim was submitted on May 23, 2023 and It was 6 weeks before I received any response from the company. The woman who called me then promptly told me she did not have the authority to handle the full claim but could only pay the baggage delay, which she did. The balance of the claim was referred to another person. After more time had passed with no response I contacted the Squaremouth Zero Complaint team. After I contacted them I did get a response from Generali but the woman who contacted me told me she did not have time to process the rest of the claim that day but only part of it. She promised she would finish it the next day which she did not. She processed it 3 days later for an amount that I did not agree with or understand. I have left two phone messages for the second woman processing my claim to ask her to call me to answer my questions. She has not returned my call.
Overall, I would say Generali Global's claim service is terrible. It took way too long to respond to my initial claim and then the claim got handed off to two different people. Why not have one person handle the entire claim? Also, I have no tolerance for a business that hides behind voicemail and will respond to a legitimate inquiry from a customer. Based on my experience, I do not know why you offer insurance from this company on your website.
