IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
We had a subsequent trip planned but we cancelled because of the political uncertainty in Doha, Qatar. We cancelled the trip before the final payment was due and the only charge from the supplier was a $200 admin fee. When I asked for a refund from IMG ( Policy Number: TCCH085496268) they said no as it was after 10 days from date of purchase. My argument, since I cancelled the trip prior to final purchase, there was no exposure for IMG.
We have made several trips in the past and used Square Mouth but since we cannot seem to get our money back for the last trip we are going to rethink from whom we purchase trip insurance.
Pre-departure, I had to ring IMG to alter the departure date as I had accidentally put the international destination arrival date on my insurance, rather than the local departure date. The staff at IMG were extremely helpful, even through the purchase of the insurance had been made, and sent me an email confirming a slightly altered departure date without any problems at all. Appreciate that. It can be a little nerve wracking making bookings to make sure everything is correct and in order. Thankyou!

I have filed a claim for losses of our vacation due to illness and subsequent injury. IMG has responded very promptly to the claim filing, but I am still in the very early stages of completion of my claim. I’m impressed with the quick response of IMG and the clear explanation of the process to completion.
Trying to get beneficiary forms to them was ridiculous. We had to request forms and send them back since there wasn’t an online option. Response from them was slow and it took several contacts, including asking Squaremouth to intervene to get this completed. It just shouldn’t have taken that long. The policy itself was a great value and included everything we needed but they dropped the ball on the beneficiary formsfor sure.

Easy to fill out claim form. Claim moved fast once additional information requested was sent.
Surprised that settlement went to person injured instead of person who paid insurance premium.
No information on claim progress. I emailed and they responded in a timely manner. 19 days and still no information on claim except processing.
The staff were very helpful and the process was very smooth.
