IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Very slow to respond. Website and claim process not very clear.
Just poor and impatient service. Also, the urgent care clinic had a lot of difficulties validating my policy so I ended up having to pay over the counter even though I had confirmed they were in network.
I had to make a date change to my travel insurance. I contacted customer service and it was completed and sent to me within 5 minutes. We had a wonderful trip and it was good to have the assurance that our trip was protected.

IMG has been horrible to work with. We filed a claim and have done everything they've asked for. They are not following their own guidelines/timelines and take forever to respond. I do not recommend them.
We had to file a claim.. I called from Europe several times and often got conflicting information. Now that we have filed a claim, they are telling what I was told was incorrect and not paying claims that I was told were going to be covered. I'm appealing the decision now. But overall, very disappointed and will not use again

While they ultimately did pay 95% of our claim, the process took way too long and there is no way to speak to anyone with any authority so it’s very frustrating. You submit paperwork they give them self 10 days to review the paperwork and they send you an answer then you ask a question and then it’s another 10 days so we submitted everything in January and we received our payment 2 1/2 months later They also were incredibly nitpicky about a $23 receipt which we had the credit card receipt for but not the original one so yes, we did ultimately get our money but the amount of work it took to get the money in my opinion felt excessive and it could’ve been handled so much quicker if they were willing to give you just one phone call oh and repeated request for phone calls that were promised or ignored
The policy coverage was verified thru their rep who was very polite.
The problem with purchasing coverage is for your company to give real time examples like ...we had a person medically evacuated from Aruba to the USA and the cost was approximately xx dollars.
This info would help us decide amout of insurance coverage to buy. Your representative had no clue.
