When we were driving around India my husband developed acute back ache and could not sit without pain. On the advice of a doctor we started medication and cut our trip down by 3 nights (hotels have charged us). On arriving in Cochin the pain became so intense we admitted him in an Ayurvedic hospital for treatment and he was there for a month till he cold travel back...I was with him.
When I contacted Tin Leg on my iPad (no proper phone or wi-fi connection and told them what was happening) they did not reply. I found this disturbing.
Though I could have made a fuss and insisted on immediate medical evacuation to a big city I did not. I let him rest, have the treatment and continue with our planned trip to keep expenses charged to a minimum. Since our return he has been having doctor's visits through our insurance. If Tin Leg could not communicate with me through email as I requested them to and reassure me of the help I had insured both of us for, what use is their service/promises.
I am disappointed and in Squaremouth's too for taking them on as a carrier too. I have never had to use insurance but have taken it and what rankles is their lack of response when I asked what papers were needed for filing my claim from the hospital.
You have told me in the past you will stand with the customer and I am filing a claim today (unable to do this earlier because of preoccupation with my husband's health).
I hope you will help speedy replies and help in this matter.
