    I had to file a claim due to a medical family emergency that happened 1 day into my trip and when i contacted customer service they were very helpful in guiding me on what i needed to do to get back home and if my insurance was going to help me cover any of my lost costs. I am still waiting on the results of my claim but so far it has been easy to deal with.

    I never used to buy travel insurance but a few years ago i started purchasing it. This was my first time purchasing with Tin Leg and even though i never thought I would have to use the insurance, this time I did. Through being upset and having to cancel my trip I was ONE day into, Tin Leg was helpful from the very beginning and through the whole process. I will definately use them again for my travel insurance needs.

    We received a call to set up our claim for medical expenses and missing two ports due to weather and a boat pilot strike. Representative was friendly and knowledgeable. Just submitted my claim. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the claim

    The moment my doctor told me not to travel on October 7 due to a diagnosis of Covid and then Covid rebound I notified my provider (no refund was available through them) and Tin Leg. In the beginning the people there were very helpful and provided me with documents to complete. Slowly over the next nearly 1.5 months I was asked to documents in a piecemeal way — sometimes one document at a time with gaps in between. I was also asked for the same documents two and sometimes three times. I tried to speak with the person assigned to my case and every time I had to leave a message; the call would be returned sometimes more than 24 hours later. The same was true for emails I sent; the response delay was at least two or three days.

    My attempts at communication with Tin Leg was to get clarification on what documents I needed so I could give it to them all at once, and to get a sense of how long the process would take.

    Much of this took place while I was still ill; the effects of Covid rebound lasted until the end of October.

    Two months after I made my initial claim I finally received the check around December 5. I understand the need to ensure the claim is valid. I understand that the company needs thorough documentation. What I don't understand is asking for the paperwork in dribs and drabs and then asking the the documents again and again. And it should not take 2 months for the claim to be settled. At one point I told the representative I felt as though he thought I was trying to scam the company; It was humiliating.

    My enitre experience with Tin Leg Insurance has been fantastic. From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth, and I wanted to take a moment to share my positive feedback. This is the second time that we have used Tin Leg and the first time we have had to file a claim.

    First and foremost, the Tin Leg team proved exceptionally easy to work with. Navigating through the various insurance options was a breeze, thanks to their user-friendly website and helpful customer support. The information provided was clear, concise, and allowed me to make an informed decision tailored to my travel needs.

    What truly set Tin Leg apart, though, was their outstanding customer service. Every interaction, whether online or over the phone, was met with professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping me. The representatives were patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to address any concerns or questions I had. It's rare to find such a high level of customer service these days, and Tin Leg truly exceeded my expectations.

    When I decided to book my own air using miles, the cost of the trip decreased accordingly. I called Tin Leg to adjust the price of my policy and they couldn't have been faster, more efficient or nicer.

    I filed a claim at the end of August. I was advised by my orthopedic surgeon not to take my trip scheduled for November because I found out that I need knee replacement surgery. I had many email contacts with my agent Yesenia Illa. She was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I did not give Tin Leg five stars because the time between when I filed and when I my claim was accepted was very long. I had to wait to have a phone interview until the middle of September. After that interview, I was able to start the documentation process. I had to give a lot of documentation to get approved but Tin Leg approved my claim on November 8th and I received a check the following week. I think Tin Leg could speed up the process by scheduling the phone interview on a more timely basis. On the other hand, they are very thorough and professional and easy to contact by phone or email..
