    I telephoned Tin Leg prior to my departure in order to increase the amount of insurance as I increased the value of my trip. They were very helpful, professional, and efficient. They accomplished what I needed without any problem.

    The length of a claim is to long. Financially it's difficult when I have to spend all this extra money and it takes weeks if not months to recover my finances back.

    Cannot properly rate policy purchase until claim is processed. At this time it is taking 2 weeks, per your schedule, to speak with a representative regarding my claim. That is too long to take to discuss a claim.

    Initially process began great. Than quickly fell apart. Was asked for impossible things.

    1) provided pictures of legal ID & damage several times.
    2) requested final determination from airline that I did not have.
    3) requested baggage damage assessment price to fix. Where am I going to do that? I’m not paying more for that.

    Your company made it difficult to finish claim process. I think your company does this so that they don’t have to pay out claim

    I contacted squaremouth when United cancelled my flight and I had to change my plans. I had to change the date and the carrier but they made it easy for me to make these adjustments to my policy. I didn't have any problems with my trip but I was glad I had insurance. This was my 7th trip to Ireland but the first time I had ever bought travel insurance. From now on I will always buy travel insurance for my trips.

    We had a phone lost or stolen on carry on luggage. The claim covers only 100 dollars. Tin leg is making us jump through hoops asking for information that is redundant. They keep asking for more and more. I feel they are trying to make us just give up and I probably will. Will never use them again and we travel a lot.

    I took a commuter flight while on vacation in Italy, and the airlines lost my luggage for 9 days. I called immediately to get some help, and the gal was completely worthless. No help or guidance whatsoever.

    So far, I am not happy at all. We experienced trip interruption and have about $2500.00 in extra expenses. When I called Tin Leg, I was told I need to do a phone interview before claim can be filed - HOWEVER, phone interview is not available for 3 weeks. This is ridiculous! This is a big $$ burden and will have to be totally paid for before phone interview occurs. Who knows how long after interview, claim and documentation is even looked at. I’ve never experienced a process like this with an insurance company before. Probably won’t use Squaremouth again but will continue to use TravelEx purchased through my travel agent or Allianz annual policy. I have called Tin Leg twice about this to no avail. I will be away when my phone interview occurs and will now have to take all paperwork with me etc. very inconvenient!!
