Tin Leg requires receipts for everything -including fast food at an airport. Not easy to do when your wallet is missing, credit cards had to be cancelled and you are in a panic mode--missed flight due to wallet stolen.
They are suppose to get back to me tomorrow as I have submitted all the paperwork that I could find, including credit card receipts for new flights and cancellation fees.
AND most important, you cannot talk to the claim's person -- all has to be done via email messages .

We got sick, had to come home early. Beggining the claim process w/ you …. Lots of work . Don’t understand the TinLeg/BattleFace/ Squaremouth relationship… hope you all make this process less painful than it already has been . Call me please.
Our luggage was delayed on return so I contacted tin leg to understand process and coverages should we need it eventually (thankfully we did not!).
I did not have any problems during our trip, which is good. I had an upfront question prior to purchase and it was promptly and curtiously answered.
My wife and I both came down with Covid.
I filed a claim, 3 weeks+ ago and they have stalled about getting it settled.
I have called and emailed and they said that they have not yet assigned the claim to an adjuster.
I am very unhappy with the response.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I apologize for the lengthy process and the frustration you have experienced. I have spoken with our claims team regarding the status of your claim.
When supporting documentation is sent via mail, it can take 2 weeks until everything is scanned and uploaded to the claim. Your documentation has been scanned in today, and will be reviewed by one of our claims adjusters. At that point, we will make a determination on your claim or contact you if any additional documentation is needed.

Our trip was interrupted in the middle due to a flight cancellation. We had to reschedule 2 flights and our tour as well. We also had to stay an extra night in a hotel. We called the 24 our line on a Saturday. The rep was very nice and tried to help, but she was unsure about what would be covered and asked us to call back on Monday. She had indicated only 24 hour medical emergency staff were available on the weekends.
They were not very helpful at all, will not be using them in the future. first insurance company that I went with for travel and the worst so far.
I feel that the policy provided great coverage
We had to delay our trip and Tin Leg allowed us to change our policy dates. It was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Great customer service!
