I contacted Tin Leg to file a claim twice. Their automated answering service gives the option to leave your name and a call back number. I did not do this on the first (unsuccessful try) On the second call I left my phone number and was called back one day later and after I filed an online claim
By email they explained that the claim would be handled by a third party who would provide me with claim forms and a list of the necessary information within 10 days. That clock is still running so I have no basis to rate the claim response yet.

If ZERO stars was an option, I would use it. More than 4 weeks since submission and .....nothing. I was given the number for a person incorrectly referred to as an adjuster. Two phone calls a week apart, no response. I wouldn't mind being put off, but to be ignored is unacceptable. This service stinks.
My trip was postponed twice and both times we were able to extend the trip insurance. Tin Leg was very accommodating and we were very assured that our investment in the trip was secure.
I filed a claim with with Tin Leg. The claim was transferred to Broadspire. I uploaded the documentation over 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything from the. I have called customer service and have not received any callback.

Sadly, no, I was not able to take my trip as planned. Omicron reared its ugly head and the operator of the cruise was forced to cancel the cruise portion of the trip. I have been working with Jody at Tin Leg, who has been absolutely wonderful.
I was able to re-book my trip for next year and Jody assured me that my insurance premium was rolled over for my 2023 trip. I have found that dealing with Squaremouth (Tin Leg) has be more than satisfactory. I'll definitely be using you for future travel as well as the resumption of this, long-awaited, trip to Antarctica.

My experience post filing a claim has been a one star. Tin Leg rejected the claim we filed and for the past week I have been trying to get to talk to someone at Tin Leg to understand why. I have made phone calls and sent an email. The response has been terrible. This is the worst experience with the company I have ever experienced. My wife and I travel a fair amount and Tin Leg has been our go to company. We have praised them publicly among our friends. But a after this experience we will probably be looking for a new company. We are so disappointed.

Our claim was pushed over to Broadspire for reasons not disclosed to me. I’ve tried to file my claim and can already see the difficulties to resolve my claim! For example; I tried submitting the first seven pages required and was unable due to “file larger than 5Mb”.
