My experience with Tin Leg has been excellent. My husband became very sick while abroad and I immediately contacted the 24 Hour Assistance Line (Falck Global Assistance) for guidance. The woman at Falck listened to the issues, advised us to go to the hospital, offered to help us find the nearest hospital, and assigned a case number. Both Falck as well as the Tin Leg Claims Team continued to follow-up via email both while we were still abroad and once we returned to the United States. Upon returning to the United States, my husband signed a HIPAA form for Falck to use to obtain the medical records from the foreign hospital, and following a 10 minute phone call with the Tin Leg Claims Team, Tin Leg drafted and emailed me a claims form for my review and edit. Tin Leg has sent gentle emails clearly telling me the documentation I needed to provide and asking whether I have any questions, and has promptly responded to my few questions. Today (a little more than two weeks since we returned from abroad) I submitted the claim form and all the documentation except for the medical records that Falck is obtaining. I am very impressed by the kindness, responsiveness and professionalism of Tim Leg and Falck Global Assistance to date.
This was an exceptionally easy experience, and way less expensive than other options.

Never needed to use the insurance for our cruise, but there were plenty of people that weren’t allowed to board the ship because of covid restrictions. Definitely glad we had it. These days, its a necessity when traveling out of the country
I had to change the date of the policy because tbecause the cruise dates were changed.. tin leg customer service was able to help me with that without any problem
My questions were about coverage pre-departure and they were answered in a timely manner. The reps were friendly and professional. Fortunately I didn't need to make a claim, my trip went smoothly so I can't speak to the rest of the process.
