Tin Leg Assistance (I spoke with Venus) was helpful in guiding me through the claim process when my Tin Leg insurance and my regular health insurance overlapped.
Speaking with the customer service rep about the policy before purchasing the policy is what sold me on the plan. COVID questions were top of my last, and she patiently answered all my questions and scenarios. I would definitely purchase from them again. I didn’t make a claim, so I cannot attest to those services.
I realize now that I should have asked more questions about my Tin Leg policy. I customized the policy, increasing coverage for accident and sickness medical expense and emergency medical evacuation and and medically necessary repatriation. Traveling in the time of COVID has its risks and uncertainties. As an American citizen, and senior aged, Medicare coverage only applies in the US, and my secondary insurance would require filing documented claims afterwards, so the Tin Leg policy was my Primary insurance policy while traveling. I remained healthy and COVID free during my trip. However, when my airline changed my flight (no reason given) to leave 2 days later than planned, I worried about coverage for those two additional days. A series of emails back and forth with Tin Leg was frustrating. I wanted assurance that I would be covered medically for those two additional days, and offered to pay to extend the policy. Tin Leg initially seemed to understand that I was concerned about additional accommodation/meal costs, which I wasn’t at all. When I clarified that my concern was getting sick or injured and requiring emergency medical treatment, hospitalization or repatriation, not to mention death/repatriation of remains, it was suggested I contact other insurers for a short term medical policy. They said I could not pay to extend Tin Leg coverage through my new departure date. I was so worried that all my documentation gave my original flight date 10/13/2021 as my policy end date.They said that I could submit claims for up to 7 days, and could not tell me if I the expenses would be covered expenses until the claims were received. I imagined several thousands of dollars in out of pocket costs! I spent hours reading my Tin Leg Luxury policy, searching for another short-term policy, and fretting. I gave up. I stayed in my hotel for those two additional days to minimize risk, and thankfully, on the day AFTER my policy end-date, tested negative for COVID. I departed Morocco 10/15/2021 and arrived home safe and well. My last days in Morocco were stressful. The next time I travel and purchase insurance I will definitely ask more “what if” questions before purchasing a policy.

Tin Leg 24 hrs assistance was excellent.
My original date of travel was 9 th and for an emergency I had to change for the 10th
So I call customer care and I had a very nice gentle man who took care of the date change
He was very polite and understood my situation
In future I will get insurance from Tin leg.
Every experience with an agent was exceptional - they took the time to answer all my questions and made me comfortable with the product.
The process was seamless. I reviewed the offer, coverage and cost, against some other companies and Tin Leg had the best option for me and my traveling family. Wasn't the cheapest but not the highest cost and offered all of the coverage that I would feel I'd need.
I contacted customer service to get clarification on how the process would take place in case any COVID delays. The gentleman who assisted me was knowledgeable and friendly quickly answering all of my doubts.
I've returned from my trip and luckily didn't have to access the coverage but I surely felt safe having it. Highly recommend the ease and overall offer from Tin Leg
