No complaints and website was well organized and easy to nVIGATE.
I had one brief informational interchange and it was fine. Thankfully did not have to use this insurance abroad.
The only issue I encountered was trying to find the place on the website that allowed me to select high-altitude climbing. It was not very clear and I had to call customer service to get help.
Not sure why I had to do a 5 minute phone interview to repeat info I had provided on the forms but I did it and claim was paid within a couple days.
This was the second time I used this company ...very easy to sign up again ....felt good to be able to purchase coverage . Will continue to use this company .
I looked at several travel insurance companies before purchasing this one for a recent trip to Antarctica. The two features we really needed were coverage for pre-existing medical conditions and a high coverage amount for evacuation, and Tin Leg offered these. I felt Tin Leg offered a reasonable price for the coverage, compared with other companies. We did not have to make any kind of claim, but I felt good knowing it was there if we needed it.
The cruise line cut the long voyage short, reducing the cost. Tin Leg was very fast at providing the new, lower cost for the insurance policy, but initially said I could use it only as an advance on a future Tin Leg policy. I requested a refund on the grounds that my husband and I, 80 and 73, might not be taking another cruise that qualified, and it was the cruise line, not our whim, that caused the shorter cruise. Happily, they soon reversed their position and gave us a refund.
Thankful that I didn't need to use the insurance but relieved that I had it if necessary.
Easy to reach, clear and straightforward to interact with, an altogether different experience than dealing with the airlines and credit card companies.

Prompt, clear and straightforward dealings by phone and email. 1portion of claim resolved readily and reasonably. However, I was advised to file a second portion, went two rounds of providing back up at underwriters prompting, only to be told in the end that portion of claim isn’t covered. Don’t know if I’m more troubled by being led down a path or by the claim being categorically rejected. Both sides could have been spared the work!
I got the coverage I wanted and needed so I was able to take my cruise without worry.
