    I had no issues with purchasing the plan I needed or with my claim. We had the check within the next week after I filed.
    Great insurance company now that we are retired we feel we can go anywhere and we are covered.

    The entire process was handled very professionally. Soon after the phone interview, I received the expected compensation. I purchased another policy for another upcoming trip and this experience has re-assured me that I have chosen the right company

    My trip was not cancelled but incurred additional expenses due to flight cancellation (return trip home) because I had to fly into a different airport and stay at a hotel plus cab and train ticket to get home. Tin leg deluxe policy did not cover it
    So very disappointed. Feel like I paid for nothing really.

Unfortunately, your trip was canceled for a reason that is not covered within the policy. In order for a cancellation claim to be paid, it must fall within your policy’s specific list of covered reasons.

    After our travel, I contacted customer service and they were very helpful in telling me how to file a claim. Once I filed a claim online, I was promptly contacted and set up an interview for Oct 10.

    I travel a lot and always purchase travel insurance but luckily seldom have to use it. This time I needed to see a doctor in Croatia. The cost was minimal but Tin Leg came through with the reimbursement. I will be using them on future trips!

    I was told by Tin Leg, prior to the physician visit, that the medical bills would be paid directly and that I would not have to pay and then submit a claim. They told the same thing to the Medical Clinic when scheduling the appointment. However, the Medical Clinic requested that Tin Leg fax them this in writing. This did not occur. When we arrived at the Medical Clinic the following day at the arranged appointment, written verification from Tin Leg still had not been received. We requested that the Medical Clinic call Tin Leg to obtain the required documentation. They did so. Tin Leg again gave a verbal response that they would pay directly and that the required documentation would be faxed to the Medical Clinic. At the completion of my husband's physician's visit (and 1.5 hrs. after the phone call with Tin Leg), the documentation was still not received. We then had to pay for the expenses and file a claim upon our return to the United States.
