    Daughter delivered our first grandchild two hours ago. She was over a week late so expected date was in middle of trip we were going to take. I called months ago to say trip had been cancelled to see if there was a refund possibility. No trip but no refund. FYI - mother and baby are fine but 23 hours of labor ending in a c section.

    I had to file a claim due to the British Airways strike when BA cancelled my return trip from London. Thus far the process has been very straightforward and the customer service reps could not have been more cordial and helpful. I still have to gather a few supporting docs but I have every confidence that the claim will be settled quickly -- they told me about 10 working days. They also told me I will receive updates on the claim status during the process. Very pleased!

    Fantastic service. Helped me recoup my losses from a cancelled flight very quickly. All I had to do was explain the situation, provide some easy documentation (notification of cancellation, receipt for new flight) and my claim was approved in a few hours. Received a check about a week later. Couldn't be more pleased.

    We had to cancel our trip due to a medical issue. Tin Leg was very easy to deal with and told us exactly what we needed to submit for the claim...proof of purchase, proof of cancellation, and a medical form completed by our physician. We had our check one week after submission. Highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

    I was in Iguazu Falls, Argentina. The Spanish only speaking taxi driver set out on the 20 minute drive to the airport. The only road to the national park and the airport was blocked by 600 angry protesters. They were protesting a food tax from their government we heard later. Well, I didn't need to understand Spanish
    to see the tension and watched the angry people trying to get thru the barriers with their suitcases. Getting thru was not working. So we went back to our hotel and stayed another night. I tried repeatedly to contact the 24 hour assistance number and finally got someone who was helpful. I buy trip insurance trip after trip and this will be the first time I will make a claim. Fortunately, it was a 24 hour strike and the two groups had a meeting scheduled to figure this out. My only extra cost was another one way ticket to Buenos Aires as the airline did not honor the strike reason.

    We have used Tin leg several times as we feel we get good coverage for the money if we should need it. We have never had to file a claim so cannot comment on that process.
    We will use Tin Leg again.
