While on a 2 week cruise from New York to London, I came down with Acute Bronchitis. I received treatment from the ship's medical department. With the assistance of the ship's concierge I called the Tin Leg assistance line and opened a claim. Upon return home, I replied to the email they had sent me and scheduled an interview. The interview took about 15 minutes. I scanned in all of the documentation the ship had provided, and returned them with my claim. Within 48 hours, I was informed that the claim had been approved and they will be depositing my check directly to my bank account. I was completely satisfied with Tin Leg and will probably use them again on our next trip.
It was helpful to talk with the representative. As she suggested I requested wheel chair assistance in the airport as well as a seat where I could extend my injured leg and that was what I needed
We were unable to take the trip because of a last minute illness of my wife. The claim was handled immediately, efficiently and courteously.

Sunday, the day before our departure, I had a medical event which required me to visit an urgent care clinic. Urgent Care referred me to a specialist for further tests, lab work, and an MRI. As you would expect, this was very stressful, not knowing the outcome, and also missing our cruise. Tin Leg was very efficient, and timely, as they asked for certain documents, and kept us informed as to the progress of the claim. They continued to respond with us until all documents were received and approved. They wanted to have this claim approved quickly, without any delays.
Once approved, they informed us that we would be receiving our payment within a week. We were very impressed with how well organized they handled our claim, and in a very timely order. They were very professional and did all they could to expedite our claim. We would give their claims process an A+, and would recommend their travel policy's to all travelers.
