I was sick on or trip and had to go to medical. They were great on the ship and once home submitted a claim. I got all documents submitted and my claim was paid quickly. They let me know exactly what I needed and were efficient.
I contacted customer service before departing about concerns with unintended consequences of the Iran military "excursion" which was whether there would be enough aviation fuel for our planned flights to and from Europe and within Europe. I was told that because it is a "war" that we would not be reimbursed. However they shared that we should still file a claim.
Fortunately, there was no problem with aviation fuel. I did get caught by a Lufthansa pilot strike and my flight from Frankfurt to Manchester England was cancelled. I took the train instead. I was reimbursed for the Lufthansa flight. The train was slightly more expensive.
Purchasing the policy was quick and simple. It was great piece of mind to have the extra coverage on our trip. Unfortunately, we needed the coverage and had to put it to use 4 days into our trip when my mother fell. So far, the customer service team has been very kind and pleasant to deal with. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.
I had to go to emergency in Italy so I’m waiting for the bill. I will be able to give better feedback once I submit my bill to you for reimbursement.

I really appreciate speaking directly with real people every time. Your customer service people are Always friendly and helpful. Even advised me on what extra coverage I didn't need. This was my second time using Tin Leg. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip in 2019 but your service team talked me through the process AND even contacted me when I had a delay on my doctor's note. Fantastic! Payment was fast. Thankfully No claims this time ☺️
