I had to cancel my trip about one month before departure due a medical problem. I contacted Tim Leg and they told me what paperwork they needed ( doctors note, airline receipts etc). They scheduled a telephone interview with me and refilled out a form for me to complete online, once I had done that and uploaded all the documentation, they sent me an email approving my claim. I had a check from them within 5 days. I am very happy with the service and I will us Tin Leg again. I highly recommend them.
We travel extensively, on 5-8 major trips a year. If I could purchase Tin Leg for EVERY trip, I would! However, since my major concern is the amount of Medical coverage, sometimes Tin Leg doesn't always offer the amount of coverage I would like. I LOVE TIN LEG and have recommended them dozens of times!
This is the first time we purchased trip insurance. The whole process was easy and gave us a sense of comfort that we would not lose all the money if circumstances changed and We could not travel as expected.

There were two (2) significant problems with the claim process.
1. I did not receive feedback when faxed documents were received at Broadspire.
2. Voice telephone messages were not followed up with responses (never).
The claim process required 60 days, should have been 30 or less.

My husband and I traveled to Thailand in December. I fell and fractured a metatarsal and cuneiform bone in my foot and had to return home. I took care of the cancellations and rebooking my airfare for the return flight and for the forward reservations, many of which were guaranteed. I submitted photos of the necessary supporting documents via the website. True to their word, my claim was paid within 2 weeks of submitting the documentation. Every dollar submitted was paid.
